The “Booch Bootcamp”: (30 min. Or 60 min)
This is a workout that combines circuit training, weight-lifting (3 lb.- 10 lb. weights recommended), and cardio bursts. Intimidated by yoga? No fear! This workout does incorporate squats, lunges and some warrior poses, but anyone can handle the workout (yogi or not)
The Evil Eye is a sign of protection. Those who wear it have a shield to help protect from the many evils of the world. I first discovered the Evil Eye in Greece. Coming from an old-school Italian family, my father wouldn’t allow for me to attend the abroad trip sponsored by my high school. After several years of scrounging leftover dollars and skipping wild nights out to save, I had enough money to attend the trip on my own accord. Packing only a modest backpack, my three friends and I embarked on a twenty-two day trip around gorgeous areas of Europe. We traveled to some remarkable places, but Greece always seemed to push its way to the top of my list. Several years later, grateful to head to Europe once more, we went back to Greece. Again, five countries later, Greece still had the same affect on me. There was something about the vivacity, the culture, the people- there is a happy, go lucky feeling as you stroll the streets, but still a great sense of pride that captures my heart every time. Though I am not Greek, I love what the culture stands for. The Evil Eye Collection helps to spread that beauty of a country that will always be one of my favorite.
