Vinyasa Flow

Looking for a wonderful way to escape, but still get your body moving in the process? Vinyasa yoga is the class for you. Vinyasa is a form of yoga that incorporates breath and postures for a dance-like sequence that soothes not only the body, but the mind as well. Use this practice to clear your mind, yet still burn calories simultaneously. I will offer several modifications, so this format is for all levels. Whether you are hopping into half moon pose on the regular or a rookie who has no clue what a warrior is—- this class is for you. Expect to have a combination of balancing postures, abs, and a soft flow to culminate into a work out that will leave you feeling refreshed and relaxed (the best of both worlds.)

“Booch Bootcamp”

Attending the University of Illinois and joining a sorority of over 100 girls, I had to make my mark somehow. My nickname (Booch- stemming from my last name Buccieri) became part of my identity that set me apart from the sea of girls. So, what better name for my workout than The Booch Bootcamp? In this workout, you are getting it all. This workout is the epitome of “full-body workout.” Each day, you will work all of the main muscles in your body and increase your strength and endurance. Combining weight-lifting, yoga flow, balancing postures, and abs, you won’t miss a beat! I have also veered off from the typical “yoga sculpt” and tried to incorporate cardiovascular exercises, kickboxing, and squats into the routines. Be prepared to sweat, towel off, and get back to it. The intensity is high, but always a blast! All you need is a yoga mat,  a set of weights ranging from 3-10 pounds (or not- just an added challenge), and an open mind!

Meditation

This is a chance for you to truly take 20 minutes tops for yourself- to put aside the distractions and the hustle and bustle to connect within. The benefits of meditation are infinite- from reducing stress, releasing anxiety, and increasing focus among many others. Join me for a guided meditation, where I walk you through a mental experience that will hopefully transform your mood and energy. Find a comfortable seat or lay down (whichever is comfortable for you) and get ready to breath deeply, become in tune with your body, and leave feeling mentally stronger than you entered.
