The “Booch Bootcamp”: (30 min. Or 60 min)
This is a workout that combines circuit training, weight-lifting (3 lb.- 10 lb. weights recommended), and cardio bursts. Intimidated by yoga? No fear! This workout does incorporate squats, lunges and some warrior poses, but anyone can handle the workout (yogi or not)
The Pura Vida Collection
This collection is an ode to my best friend and boyfriend, Blake. Filling my life with spontaneity and curiosity, he never disappoints in the vacation department. Though it may frustrate him, I always leave him to the arduous, stressful planning process, because he manages to create an experience of a lifetime over and over again. Who knew that was possible?! On that note, he brought me to vibrant, colorful island of Costa Rica for the first time. The outpouring of beauty that radiates not only from the jungles, but from the people who inhabit the island is truly remarkable. Whether you are jumping off of a seventy-foot waterfall or diving into deep waters attempting to work a scuba tank, the saying amongst the locals is always, “Pura Vida.” “Pura vida” translates to “pure life,” but to them, it is much greater than that. To the hardworking, overly kind people of the country, it means living with a purpose. Happiness and low stress are the two aspects of life they work to achieve everyday. It is that simple. The “Pura Vida Collection” started with beads we purchased by a local on a secluded beach. And though I ran through those beads, I hope to emulate similar vibes to replicate what the beautiful people of Costa Rica did everyday!
